When I cut this cabochon, the rising moon caught my eye. This brecciated, Maligano Jasper is a relatively new find from Indonesia. The patterns lend themselves to abstract paintings.
I recently purchased the bead wire that surrounds this cabochon, this felt like a great application for it! It's a cheery piece-
The pendant itself is about 2" long by 1-1/4" at the widest. (50mm x 34mm) The sterling rolo chain is 18" in length and is finished with a sterling lobster clasp. The sterling has been oxidized and then sanded to a satin finish.
